When did you first experience the TBI Method? (When did you first work with Christopher?)

When did you get certified in the TBI Method?

Please tell us a little bit about your Transformational Journey.
In February 2012, I found myself seated next to Christopher Maher on a flight. As we made eye contact and exchanged introductions, something extraordinary happened. When I closed my eyes, I was enveloped by a radiant white-yellow light that filled the entire plane. A voice echoed within me, stating, “You’re exposed. He knows everything about you—what you ate yesterday, what you’ll eat tomorrow. You are exposed!” A week later, I started working with Christopher, and together we began unpacking the layers of density, tightness, and tension buried deep within my fascia and body—things I had no prior awareness of. At the time, I had been working for over a decade as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and boxing coach. Each session and training felt like striking gold, allowing me to absorb the information with reverence, applying it first to myself and then to my clients.
That moment on the plane ignited a profound shift within me. Since then, I’ve been following that light—seeking understanding, healing, and expansion. True body intelligence has served me more than just information; it has offered me sacred tools—keys to unlock the universe within me, facilitating an investigation and meeting of self in the deepest, rawest, and truest ways. As I continue to do my personal healing work, it’s has a domino effect and allows others to do the same. This journey has brought me peace and clarity amidst chaos, transforming my approach from a fitness-focused mindset to one rooted in true health, wellness, and wholeness. With each layer I uncover, I’m purified, opened, and emotionally freed. It has become my path to truth, transformation, and purpose.
How has TBI most impacted your life?
The most significant impact of this work on my life has been the transformation in my relationship with myself. Initially trapped in a harsh, critical mindset, I learned to cultivate a loving connection with my body and prioritize self-care, leading to a newfound sense of wholeness.
This journey has empowered me to take responsibility for my well-being and recognize that I co-create my interactions. By understanding my role in these dynamics, I’ve gained the ability to influence outcomes positively.
Additionally, my intuition and awareness have expanded dramatically, allowing me to connect more deeply with my own needs and those of others. This heightened sensitivity is key to my ability to excel in my work and provide meaningful support to those around me. Ultimately, my relationship with myself is crucial, and I find immense value in helping others, which makes this sensitivity all the more significant. It is this deepened self-connection that now serves as the foundation for everything I do.
